I sostantivi “sunset”, “dusk” e “nightfall” possono essere tutti tradotti con tramonto, ma possiedono sfumature di significato diverse. “Sunset” indica il momento in cui il sole tramonta all'orizzonte, mentre “dusk” e “nightfall” si riferiscono al periodo immediatamente successivo, in cui c'è ancora un po' di luce, ma sta iniziando a fare buio: Andiamo a vedere il tramonto, let's go and see the sunset; La luce dopo il tramonto è perfetta per questa foto, the light at dusk is perfect for this picture.
